- 5 FACTORS OF AWESOMESAUCE PIZZA:
1) Dough: 9/10
The dough is very thin in the middle, while very puffy and thick on the outside.
It follows the typical neapolitan pizza tradition: the crust is not crunchy, but very soft and delicious instead.
They write on the menu that the leavening process lasts 30 hours and they offer gluten free and whole wheat options free of charge!!
I chose the whole wheat dough and it was super tasty 🙂
2) Toppings: 9/10
I’ve never tasted sweet green peppers before so I decided to give a chance to this kinda-traditional pizza topping: it was very nice.
Buffalo mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce are super delicious too: their quality is clearly high.
The quantity of the ingredients is fair.
3) Value: 8/10
The value of these pizzas is actually 9€ but they added 1€ as a service fee: I think that this is fair since they don’t even charge anything for the whole wheat dough.
Plus this is not a normal pizza since the quality of the ingredients is very high and the preparation of the dough follow the old neapolitan tradition; however the cheaper option (Marinara 5€) is not actually that cheap -.-‘ since you usually pay 3€ for that.
As for the other special pizzas I think that their price is reasonable instead.
You can understand what I’m saying reading the menu below.
4) Service: 7/10
This restaurant was very crowded since I went there on Easter Monday.
They let us wait a little too long to get our pizzas done and also other customers got a bit nervous about their wait so the atmosphere was not very nice and a bit messy.
However I think they did their best so I’d give them another chance.
5) Side Effects: 8/10
After eating these pizzas I felt a bit bloated and thirsty but it was not so annoying.
- OVERALL RATING: 8.2/10 (traditional Neapolitan pizza in Milan!)
