1) Dough: 9/10
The dough is very very thin in the middle, while a little bit puffier on the outside.
The shape of my pizza was a bit different but I appreciated its oddity 🙂
You can clearly taste that it is made in a natural way with high quality ingredients; it’s way lighter than usual and I really like its texture.
Plus they offer whole wheat and gluten free dough upon request.
However it was a bit burned here and there on the borders so that wasn’t very nice.

2) Toppings: 10/10
The toppings here are traditional from Cilento.
I choose Spring in Cilento since it was super hot outside and it was delicious!
I’m not a fan of anchovies but they were completely different from the ones than you can buy at the supermarket: fleshy and not too salty.
Yellow tomatoes, zucchini blossoms and mozzarella were full of flavors and alle these ingredients make a tasty and light combination all together.
The quantity of the ingredients is fair too 🙂

3) Value: 8/10
I paid this pizza 12,50€ and I think it’s a lot; however the ingredients are not very common and their quality is very high so I guess it’s fair in a way.
On the menu you can read that the cheapest pizza is Marinara (6€), therefore there are actually no cheap option.

4) Service: 10/10
The service here seems very good.
They take reservations and i love this fact because in Milan pizzerie do not take reservations any more and you need to wait a lot to eat.
Here they baked our pizzas in less then 5 minutes and the waiters were extra nice to everybody.. it’s definitely a lovely place 🙂

5) Side Effects: 9/10
After eating this pizza I felt a bit thirsty probably because of the savory anchovies; however I didn’t experience any other side effect so I’m pretty sure that the dough was easy to digest.

1) Dough: 4/10
The dough is the thinest one I have ever seen, from the middle to the crunchy/burned crust.
I usually enjoy this kind of pizza but this one is really too thin.. it looks like a piadina and I thought I was eating air at some point 😦
Of course it’s super light and very big but it’s also dry and not tasty at all.

2) Toppings: 5/10
This mix of ingredients is not original and but I love cheese so I usually enjoy it very much.
However the quality of these two cheese here is clearly very low : the buffalo mozzarella is tasteless and the gorgonzola is super salty.
Plus the quantity of the ingredients is barely enough since they didn’t even put enough tomato sauce on the top of it 😦
Very disappointing stuff.

3) Value: 4/10
I paid this pizza 12,5€ and I think this is completely unfair since they use low quality ingredients and the dough is very disappointing.
The pie is big but it’s really not worth all this money.

4) Service: 8/10
I ordered this pizza via foodora so I don’t actually know how is this restaurant but I can tell that my pizza arrived on time and it was the one that I ordered so they did their job.
However the pizza wasn’t sliced.

5) Side Effects: 8/10
I felt very thirsty all night long but I experienced only a little bit of bloating during the night so I think that the dough was indeed very light after all!

  • OVERALL RATING:  6/10 (this pizza is criminal as Barabba )

You pay 12,5€ for 2 mini pizzas and this is almost the same price you get if you try to make one of them as a pizza profile.

It’s another delivery service I don’t know the real service in the new restaurant yet; however it arrived a little bit late again :/

I was very very thirsty after eating this pizza.

1) Dough: 10/10
The dough is very very thin in the middle, while a bit puffier in on the borders (not much like in the Neapolitan tradition though!)
The whole pizza is very soft and delicious: it kinda melts in your mouth with an explosion of flavor!!!
You can clearly taste that it is made in a natural way with high quality ingredients ; it’s way lighter than usual and I really like its texture.

2) Toppings: 9/10
The only problem related to the toppings is the lack of variety.
I know that many people think that simple pizzas are the real pizzas but to me trying new combination of ingredients is a very important thing.
However they also have 2 special pizzas out of the menu (like these ones that my friend and I chose) so this factor makes this pizzeria better than its sister Piz that I’ve already reviewed 🙂
Anyway they use high quality ingredients that make these pizzas very special and you can really taste it: salted greens with anchovies are insanely good and in both of the pizzas the parmesan cheese really makes the difference.
The quantity of the ingredients is perfect too; the only flaw is that I would have preferred a little bit less oil .

3) Value: 8/10
The value of these pizzas is actually 10,50€ but they added 1,5€ as a service fee: I think that this is actually fair, since they treat every customer as a rock star.
Maybe 10 € is a bit too much for a pizza but I understand that this is kind of a piece of art so I can accept it 🙂
However the cheaper pizza costs 6€ and it’s still a bit expensive since the Marinara is very simple (you can understand what I’m saying reading the menu below).

4) Service: 10/10
The service here is awesome.
They welcome everybody with a glass of very nice prosecco and a piece of special folded pizza that will totally make you drool!!!
Even though it’s always crowded and they don’t accept reservations you will be seated in less than 30 minutes and you will be eating after 5 minutes top: the service is so quick and efficient that you kinda feel harassed by all their kindness.
At the end of the meal they even gave us free shots of italian liquor!!
The pizza is not sliced but the waiters are super caring and the place is colorful and cheerful so I really can’t complain about anything.

5) Side Effects: 10/10
After eating this pizza I felt very thirsty but I’m not very good at dealing with hard liquor so that may be one of the reasons; however I didn’t experience any other side effect and the day after I felt great and still very happy. Awesome 🙂

  • OVERALL RATING:  9.4/10 (super simple but probably one of the best pizza in Milano!)
  • DESSERT SUGGESTION: Limoncello sorbet!

1) Dough: 8/10
The dough is very thin in the middle, while puffy and thick on the outside. It follows the typical neapolitan pizza tradition (the crust is not crunchy, but very soft and delicious instead) but since is so thinest in the middle and it is made in a natural way with organic ingredients it’s way lighter than usual.
However it’s slightly burned here and there so I wouldn’t rate this factor 10.

2) Toppings: 9/10
I wanted to tasted this kind of traditional neapolitan pizza since forever but I was always too worried about its heaviness.
I can confirm now that it’s one of the richest pizza I’ve ever tasted but it’s totally worth it.
Potato croquette, provola cheese and ham are all super tasty and they make a perfect mix together.
However on the menu they write that this pizza should have raw ham; I’m not complaining about it because I like this ham more than that one but in general I don’t like surprises after ordering stuff.
The quantity of the ingredients is perfect though and you can clearly taste the different ingredients.

3) Value: 9/10
The value of these pizzas is actually 8,5€ but they added 2€ as a service fee: I think that this is fair because the service is very good.
Plus this is not a normal pizza since the quality of the ingredients is very high, the mix of toppings is special and the preparation of the dough follow the old neapolitan tradition; however the cheaper option (Marinara 4,5€) is not actually that cheap -.-‘ since you usually pay 3€ for that.
As for the other special pizzas I think that their price is reasonable instead.
You can understand what I’m saying reading the menu below.

4) Service: 9/10
This restaurant was very crowded even on Thursday night but they managed to find a table for us anyway.
The waiters are very nice and caring and they even offer a glass of prosecco as aperitiv and then a shot of meloncello at the end of the meal.
The pizza is not sliced.

5) Side Effects: 7/10
During the night, after eating these pizzas I felt very bloated and thirsty. I also felt super full but this is probably because I’m not used to eat fried food so it is always this way. -.-

  • OVERALL RATING:  8.6/10 (traditional Neapolitan pizza in Milan!)
  • BEVERAGE SUGGESTION: Meloncello!

In their website they state:

Light, soft and super hydrated […]

We have developed a special exclusive mix of flour GMO free which makes the dough sourdough – up to 72h – highly digestible and low in fat.

and you can indeed taste its lightness!
As you can see on the picture below the dough is quite thin and not very crunchy even on the borders but I really enjoyed its texture.

2) Toppings: 9/10
This place makes pizza by the slice or rounded little pizzas so you can choose and taste different toppings..however I wasn’t very hungry so I only tasted one of them.
This one was great: simple and light but full of flavors.
This is not trivial because zucchini don’t have a very strong flavor so either you need very good vegetables or very good seasoning/side dish.
Here the super tasty cheese totally makes the difference and they all make a perfect mix of ingredients.
The only flaw here is the fact that I couldn’t taste any pecorino cheese or basil.
The quantity and the quality of them is indeed satisfying.
I can’t wait to taste all the other special toppings: in particular the meatball and the guacamole ones 🙂

3) Value: 7/10
I paid this big slice of pizza 4€ and I think it’s kinda fair.
I mean.. the slice is big but as not as big as a normal pizza so in my opinion you should eat 2 of them to be satisfied.
However they don’t add any service fee because this place it’s more like a “take away spot” than a real restaurant.
Plus they gave me a promotion discount to use the next time so I’m pleased about it.

4) Service: 9/10
The service here is basic since as I’ve already written, this place is more like a “take away spot”.
However there are a few tables and some places to sit inside so they can serve you sliced pizza for free with a nice cutting board.
The guys that work there are super nice and friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed so I’d like to come back there again!!

5) Side Effects: 9/10
After eating these pizzas I was a bit thirsty but I’m pretty sure that the dough or the ingredients weren’t bad because they were easy to digest and I didn’t feel too bloated 🙂

The dough is super thin in the middle, probably the thinest I‘ve ever tasted, while puffy and thick on the outside. It kinda follows the typical neapolitan pizza tradition (the crust is not crunchy, but very soft and delicious instead) but since is so thinest in the middle and it is made in a natural way with organic ingredients it’s way lighter than usual.
However this leaving process can make the pizza huge so some points of the crust are weirdly cooked (slightly undercooked or burned) :/

2) Toppings: 10/10
I’ve already reviewed another Sorbillo’s pizzeria (Lievito madre al Duomo) and I can honestly say that this one has better toppings.
I mean.. they are less traditional and more various so I really appreciate this change.
Moreover the one that I chose is brilliant and in my opinion the ingredients make a good and unique mix together.
I loved the friarielli a lot because they are usually seasoned with oil and hot pepper while here they keep their original natural taste; the pumpkin cream is super sweet and full of flavor; the speck and the mozzarella cheese are also very tasty!!
The only flaw are the black olives because they are too salty and they still have their core :/
The quantity of the ingredients though is perfect and you can clearly taste the different ingredients: I loved it.

3) Value: 8/10
The price of this pizza is 11,5€; I ordered it from Glovo and it was delivered to my place so I don’t know anything about the service fee.
However I understand that this is not a normal pizza since the quality and the quantity of the ingredients are very high, the mix of toppings is special and the preparation of the dough is demanding; plus this pizza is huge, it couldn’t even fit the pizza box!!
Therefore I think this price is kinda fair.. I know it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for 🙂

4) Service: 6/10
I don’t really know a lot about the service of this place since I chose the delivery option.
However I know that since this restaurant is always crowded and they don’t take reservations, if you want this pizza you really need to wait a lot (both for a table and to get the pizza done).
As for my experience I can say that the pizza arrived on time (in the 1-hour range that I chose -.-) but it was super cold and the presentation wasn’t very cool :/

5) Side Effects: 9/10
Even though this pizza is huge and I ate it all I didn’t experience most of the usual side effects. I just felt very thirsty because of the salty black olives 😦
